Stranger hunter

The ship was first discovered in open space, in a cloud of tritium, deuterium and hydrogen. After studying the gas mixture, scientists suggested that a battle had taken place between Tritites and a corvette-type ship; tritium decay analysis, however, dated the battle to about 15000 years ago. The hull is identical to that used on corvette-type ships, but disassembly showed this to be a completely different type. Besides heavier armament, researchers found a gluon reactor already known to science, and engines of the unknown Stranger civilization. The ship was also fitted with a radar and was apparently used by the Strangers as a hunter. Scientists still debate whether the battle really took place so long ago, or whether some cataclysm threw both opponents into the distant past.
