You can develop your character in any direction you choose. Even if you make a mistake and choose the wrong profession, there is always time to set things right.
Use the planet’s natural resources to develop your empire. Develop deposits, mine and process ore, and build the strongest fleet in the universe.
Make use of the resources in orbit. The orbital assembly plant can produce the largest and most powerful ships in the galaxy. The factories can extract gas from gas giants.
Trade at your orbital station and earn money on your planet. The more planets you settle, the more resources you will be able to extract.
Command your ships and combine groups of ships into a fleet. Every ship has its own distinctive traits; when you unite ships into a fleet, you unite their traits as well.
In the warehouse, you can view the condition of distant ships, planets, and stations. All your property can be moved freely.
The trade computer identifies the best deals in the galaxy. If you have the skills of a stellar trader, the trade computer will remain your best source of income for a long time. In the Confederation, you can purchase blueprints, models, and even assembled components and ships; all of it will be delivered to your trade station instantly.
Join Alliances with other pilots – this will make it easier to stand against the strong. Each pilot chooses the purpose of the alliance: trade, piracy, or extraction.
You can revisit everything you were taught at the academy by consulting the encyclopedia. The Robots tab lets you track where your autonomous robots are working and how much of each resource remains. The settings make it easy to set the level of awareness you need.
The Confederation does not forget its settlers. Any goods you purchase will be delivered to your trade station within seconds. Many goods are limited in production and are sold only by the Confederation.
The galaxy is vast, and new stars appear in it every day. Any star can become yours. You will encounter lost ships and be able to claim them; black holes will cast you into the unknown.
Statistics let you assess your holdings, compare defenses, start extraction at distant colonies, organize production, and check the status of your warehouses. You can rename any star or planet at your command.
For colonization, you are assigned not merely a planet but an entire star system. But stay alert: pirates are waiting beyond your home planet to attack you and seize everything you have extracted.
