Hyper sync module

After the Hyper intercept module was created, the military began demanding greater intercept power from scientists, since some ships were still being intercepted by Tritites. Increasing the number of interceptors had no effect on the probability of a ship being intercepted by a Tritite. However, with precise synchronization of gravitational waves they achieved a brief burst of spatial distortion; a side effect of this experiment was a small tunnel in hyperspace.

Experiments in space showed that it is possible to build a hyper-tunnel; this can be done with precise coherence of gravitational waves at two different points in the universe. This module is used to create a fully identical wave pattern; it can transmit a complete copy of a wave across any distance in zero time.

The first mention of such a device appears in the logbooks of several Stranger ships. Having landed on a planet, the ship took off already in another star system.

Since not all negative aspects of using this device are known, both the module and the ship assembled on its basis remain under strict Confederation control.
