When a target was detected on radar, there was for a long time no way to analyze the signal in the radio band. The neuroimplant sends all received signals to the analytical part of the brain. This makes it possible to recognize ships that emit no signals. Such ships are called abandoned. The number of abandoned ships is easy to determine, but their exact location remains a mystery.
