Stranger radar detector

The device was originally developed by the Strangers, and for a long time its capabilities could not be replicated exactly. The operating principle is simple: inside a magnetic trap, a substance with negative mass equal to the mass of the ship (or fleet) is synthesized, so the total mass becomes zero and the space distortion picked up by radar is not observed. The Stranger radar detector is still used by the Confederation on its warships.
