Stranger radar

The device can scan space by every available method. For greater scanning speed, a gravitational method of detecting mass displacement is used. Relatively static objects are excluded from the gravitational-wave picture, as are known planets, satellites and meteorites. The remaining objects are, as a rule, ships. The picture obtained from the radar shows every ship present in the star system. The Strangers built a more sensitive radar that is 10 times better than the standard one, which makes it possible to find ships under cover.

For the radar to work it must stay at some distance from large masses, so it does not work on planets or in planetary orbits.
