Radar detector

The device was originally developed by the Strangers. Confederation scientists managed to copy some of its operating principles, but in power it is far inferior to those on Stranger ships. For a long time, ships carrying this device could not be found because of their high stealth. The principle is very simple: inside a magnetic trap, a substance with negative mass equal to the mass of the ship (or fleet) is synthesized, so the total mass becomes zero and the spatial distortion that radar would detect is not observed.
