Stranger planetary engine

Like all known engines, this one works by accelerating hydrogen, but the exhaust velocity is tuned so well that the hydrogen ions, accelerated to near-light speed, have a much greater mass than in an ordinary planetary engine. Use of these engines on civilian ships is strictly prohibited because of the intense radiation they produce while running.

Because of the secrecy of this technology, copying the blueprint is prohibited.
