Gravity shield

An independent protection module for large objects. It was originally designed as an orbit-based planetary shield, but high energy consumption made it unusable even on small moons. It is now very rare, found mainly on very large ships. It works by changing the flow of time in a gravitational field: several virtual surfaces of different gravity are created around the object, turning the surface of the gravity bubble into a lens. Shots aimed at the ship along a tangent curve around it or are reflected, while shots fired at a right angle are spread evenly across the hull without causing damage. The shield has enormous shutdown inertia because of the small dispersion angle of the gravitational field, so installing such a shield on rapid-fire ships makes no sense.
