Load-bearing frame
In essence, it is the ship's skeleton. It consists of a set of standardized beams and decks, so the same load-bearing frame can be used on different ships. All ship equipment is mounted directly on the load-bearing frame, which is more reliable than hull-mounted equipment. The alloys are produced in space, which makes it possible to build huge ships at orbital bases. When designing large ships, note that the load-bearing frame has low transverse strength and is poorly suited to planet-based ships.
