Quantum turret

Using superheated plasma from ionized hydrogen and a photon-induction accelerator, the turret fires at all enemies in one salvo. The total energy hitting a ship is comparable to a multi-ton load. This first exhausts ship defenses and then destroys the structure, driving all ship devices to extreme loads. To avoid hitting allies, the exact moment of the salvo is sent over an encrypted channel, allowing ship protection to be synchronized with the shot.
