Plasma accumulator
A device for storing plasma and maintaining its high energy. Used in plasma reactors, turrets, and gun mounts. Installed on spacecraft because the required amount of plasma cannot be generated at the moment of firing. Plasma is generated in any spare time, but at the moment of firing the magnetic traps release the stream in the set direction. The device is a precisely balanced magnetic shield around a storage chamber. Permanent magnets with correcting variable coils are used to maintain a strong magnetic field.
A side effect is used in plasma reactors: the plasma storage chamber has a strong static charge used for ion engines.
