Molybdenite

Molybdenite occurs as soft, flexible, silvery-gray to bluish flakes with a greasy metallic luster. Its layered structure allows the flakes to separate easily, giving the mineral a feel similar to
Graphite.
Graphite typically leaves a darker gray streak, while molybdenite leaves a blue-gray to greenish-gray streak.
