Small thermonuclear reactor

The reactor produces a large amount of energy (approximately 2.5 times more than a nuclear reactor); however, the ability to ramp power quickly allows this reactor type to be used on military ships. Structurally, the reactor is a diffusion chamber and a superheated plasma iterator. After the thermonuclear fusion reaction the products are unstable He3 and He4 isotopes, which over time turn into various hydrogen isotopes and are reused in fusion. Fuel is loaded once during manufacture; afterward the reactor can operate for several thousand years (the exact service life has not yet been proven experimentally).
