The 21st century is ending. Earth can’t take any more, so colonists head for nearby stars. You wake up with a colony of your own: mine ore, put up factories, trade on the exchange, build a fleet. You can stick with allies - or raid someone else’s world. If a planet really appeals to you, you can drag the whole thing into your system.
Noon of the 21st Century is a space strategy in the browser. Mining, trade, fights, and alliances all feed into each other. Nothing to download - open the browser and fly.
MiningThe Confederation has revised mining cycle regulations. A quarry now finishes a cycle in 10 minutes, a mine in 14, a drilling rig in 20, and an orbital gas extraction plant in 2 hours. Yield per cycle is unchanged.
Granting titlesThe Confederation has decided to delegate the right to grant titles to kings and queens. From now on they may grant a title to any other player on their own.
A3The Confederation has opened access to the A3 - a sickle-shield with no guns. Ten active structural shields and a load-bearing frame; speed is almost zero.
Hot TrailConfederation scientists have opened access to the Hot Trail ship. An extra shield was added to the layout, so you can pursue ships without fearing a small trap. The ship carries an anomalous distortion sensor: with a developed Pathfinder skill, jumps up to 30 hours old can be seen.
Orders and medalsThe Confederation has restored orders and medals. They may be used to anonymously award any pilot, leaving a commemorative inscription.
The award text is written by the one who presents the medal.
Directive IThe Confederation formally forbids direct contact with newly discovered star systems. Landing on planets in new systems is strictly prohibited.
Only a brief presence is permitted - less than one hour: docking at a trade station or a transit fly-through.
Any attempt to colonize planets or conduct combat operations in the system will result in immediate Confederation intervention.
